Hughes Metal Works typically engages in metal works projects either by working directly with general contractors or by sub contracting with structural fabricators. In working with general contractors, Hughes quotes the contractor for the metal fabrication part of the project. For example, if a general contractor is building a parking deck, Hughes would handle the metal fabrication work.
